Most skincare tools and bathwater are not a good combination. The TriWave is our favorite exception.
The Bathtub Detox uses your body as a conductor. With feet submerged in warm water, the Rejuv waveform travels through the entire system for a full-body lymphatic flush, while the electrodes above target either the face or the neck and shoulders depending on what your body needs most that day. It is deeply relaxing, genuinely effective, and honestly one of the most indulgent things you can do for your skin and your nervous system at the end of a long day.
No bathtub? No problem. A bowl of warm water to soak your feet in works just as well.
What you will need: Myolift TriWave device, Art of Skin Care Round Electrodes, Rectangle Electrodes, conductive gloves, your favorite sheet mask and a bathtub or bowl large enough to comfortably submerge your feet.
How to set up:
Fill your bath or bowl with warm water. If using a bowl, set it near a chair or stool where you can sit comfortably with your feet flat on the bottom. The pads of your feet need full contact with the water throughout the treatment.
Turn on your TriWave, select Rejuv, and dial up to 400 microamps. Then choose your target zone.
Option 1: Target the face.
Apply a water-based sheet mask. Place two electrodes on top of the mask, one above each eye on the forehead. Trim the electrodes if your forehead is on the smaller side, staying well away from the wires when you cut.
Option 2: Target the neck and shoulders.
Skip the mask and place the electrodes at the base of the neck where it meets each shoulder. This option is especially good for tension, stiffness, and anyone who carries stress in the upper body.
Sit back, feet in the water, and let the Rejuv current do what it does best. Five to ten minutes is all you need.
See Jeana's step-by-step illustrations above for electrode placement on both options.
