A Non-Inflammatory Approach to Skin Renewal

For years, skincare has been dominated by aggressive treatments—deep chemical peels, ablative lasers, microneedling, and trend-driven protocols promising fast transformation.

But fast isn’t always functional.

Many aggressive procedures deliver dramatic short-term results by triggering inflammation—the very process that accelerates aging over time.

This is what scientists now call inflammaging: a chronic inflammatory state that weakens collagen, slows repair, exhausts cellular energy, and leaves skin thinner, more reactive, and less resilient with age.

The future of skincare isn’t anti-aging.
It’s biology.

Instead of forcing the skin into trauma, longevity-based skincare asks a more important question:

How do we keep skin functional, resilient, and biologically strong for the next 30 years?

After deep dives into DNA repair (stem cells, exosomes), hormone balance (MEP), gut health, and sleep biology, we now explore the next evolution of longevity skincare:

non-inflammatory resurfacing.

This is where the AOS Nano Needle Peel comes in—a peel created by me to gently stimulate renewal while preserving long-term skin function. And now, it’s available for at-home use.

Why Traditional Peels Aren’t Longevity-Friendly

Many traditional chemical peels rely on controlled injury to stimulate renewal. While effective short-term, they often:

  • spike inflammation

  • disrupt barrier function

  • increase risk of hyperpigmentation

  • damage healthy surrounding tissue

  • drain mitochondrial energy

  • accelerate collagen breakdown long-term

So while skin may appear smoother temporarily, the biological cost can be high.

True longevity requires treatments that support skin function—rather than overwhelm it.

How to Use the AOS Nano Needle Peel

Step-by-Step Instructions

Safe, simple, and designed for confident at-home use.

STEP 1: Prep the Skin

  • Wash hands thoroughly.

  • Cleanse the face with a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser.

  • Pat skin completely dry.

  • Avoid retinoids, scrubs, acids, or exfoliating products for 24 hours prior.

STEP 2: Choose Your Nano Tip Level

Select the appropriate nano tip based on skin sensitivity and treatment area:

Level 1 – Blue (Sensitive & Delicate Areas)
Use for:

  • neck

  • forehead

  • orbital bone

  • sensitive or reactive skin

Level 2 – Green (Targeted Renewal Areas)
Use for:

  • cheeks

  • areas of deepening lines

  • thicker or more resilient skin

Always start conservatively. Gentle stimulation is the goal.

STEP 3: Apply Dermathod Derma Priming Peel Booster Pads

(Your Peel Step)

  • Attach a new disposable Nano Tip

  • Set device to a low–medium speed

  • Work section by section:
    forehead → cheeks → nose → chin → jaw → neck

For each section:

  1. Apply the Derma Priming Peel Booster Pad to a small area

  2. Immediately work it in using the Nano Pen

  3. Use slow, controlled passes:

  • horizontal

  • vertical

  • diagonal

  • Continue until the skin becomes lightly pink.

✔ Light pink = ideal stimulation
✘ Red, irritated, or uncomfortable = too much pressure

Nano infusion should feel smooth and comfortable—never painful.

Mild temporary pinkness may occur and should resolve quickly. Visible irritation or peeling should not occur.

STEP 4: Rest the Skin

Once all sections are complete:

  • Set the device aside

  • Allow the skin to rest for 10 minutes

This pause allows the peel to complete its action while keeping inflammation low.

STEP 5: Calm, Brighten & Protect

After 10 minutes:

  1. Apply Dr. esthe Skin Refining Goat Milk Ampoule

    • Calms and hydrates

    • Supports barrier recovery

  2. Finish with Dr. esthe Anti-Mela Toning Cream

    • Helps prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

    • Supports even tone

    • Reinforces the skin barrier

This is the ideal post-procedure combination for calming the skin while protecting against pigmentation.

STEP 6: Aftercare Guidelines

  • Avoid actives (retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, vitamin C) for 48 hours

  • Avoid heat, heavy sweating, steam rooms, or saunas for 12 hours

  • Apply broad-spectrum SPF before sun exposure

Optional:

  • Use red LED light for 10 minutes to enhance calming, collagen signaling, and recovery.

How Often Can You Use the Nano Needle Peel?

  • Weekly for resilient or advanced skincare users

  • Every 2–4 weeks for sensitive, aging, or menopausal skin

Your skin doesn’t need trauma—it needs consistent, low-inflammation support.

Who Benefits Most From This Peel?

Ideal for:

  •  aging or menopausal skin

  • dull or sluggish texture

  • clients avoiding aggressive treatments

  • anyone committed to skin longevity

Not recommended for:

  • ✘ open lesions

  • ✘ active cystic acne flares

  • ✘ compromised or impaired barriers (wait until healed)

What Results to Expect

Immediately

  • softer texture

  • smoother feel

  • brighter tone

1–2 Weeks

  • improved clarity

  • refined pores

  • renewed radiance

4–8 Weeks

This is the opposite of the “burn and peel” cycle—
it’s calm, steady biological improvement.

The AOS Nano Needle Peel is more than a treatment—it’s a philosophy:

  • Support the skin
  • Don’t punish it
  • Minimize inflammation

Founder’s Note: Why I Created the AOS Nano Needle Peel

For over 20 years, I’ve worked hands-on with skin—treating it, studying it, and watching how it responds not just in the moment, but years later.

What I’ve learned is this:
skin remembers how it’s treated.

I’ve seen clients chase fast results with aggressive peels and procedures, only to return later with fragile barriers, chronic sensitivity, pigmentation issues, and skin that no longer rebounds the way it once did.

As I’ve aged alongside my clients—especially through perimenopause and menopause—my philosophy has shifted. I’m no longer interested in forcing change through inflammation. I’m interested in supporting the biology of the skin so it can function well for decades.

I created the AOS Nano Needle Peel because I wanted a resurfacing treatment that:

  • stimulates renewal without injury

  • respects the skin barrier

  • supports collagen signaling rather than exhausting it

  • aligns with longevity, not trends

This peel is calm by design. It works with the skin, not against it. And it reflects how I care for my own skin today—intentionally, gently, and with the long view in mind.
