CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer
The CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer is a first-of-its-kind mousse-format moisturizer from CO2Lift® that harnesses an integrated CO2 chamber inside the bottle to dispense active-infused ingredients as a light, airy foam with every pump. The result is a formula that delivers potent, fresh actives directly to the skin in a texture that absorbs completely and leaves nothing behind. It carries a subtle fragrance released upon application.
Key Benefits
Intense, lasting hydration Sodium hyaluronate, squalane, glycerin, amino acids, and sodium PCA work together to draw moisture into the skin and seal it in, keeping skin comfortable and plump throughout the day.
Brightens and evens skin tone Multiple brightening agents, including trisodium ascorbyl palmitate phosphate, ascorbyl acid, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, licorice root extract, and phyllanthus emblica fruit extract, target uneven tone and dullness at multiple stages of the pigmentation pathway.
Smooths texture and accelerates cell turnover Glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid gently resurface the skin, while retinol supports cell renewal to visibly refine roughness and improve overall skin clarity over time.
Calms and conditions the skin A broad blend of botanical extracts, including centella asiatica, bisabolol, allantoin, chamomile, and stearyl glycyrrhetinate, help soothe the skin during active ingredient use and support a balanced, comfortable complexion.
Supports skin resilience at the cellular level Human stem cell conditioned media, hydrolyzed silk, hydrolyzed RNA, hydrolyzed DNA, thymidine, and saccharomyces lysate extract work to reinforce the skin's natural repair processes and strengthen its response to daily stressors.
If your skin feels persistently dry, dull, or rough in texture despite your current moisturizer, the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer was built for exactly that concern. It is ideal for anyone who wants meaningful hydration alongside brightening and exfoliation benefits in a single, lightweight step.
It works well for those dealing with uneven tone, post-acne marks, sun-induced discoloration, or skin that has lost its clarity over time. Because it contains retinol, glycolic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid alongside soothing botanicals, it suits skin that can tolerate active ingredients and is looking to see real, visible refinement.
It is also well suited for use on the hands, where skin tends to age faster and show signs of dehydration and uneven tone. Avoid use if your skin is currently compromised, highly reactive, or dealing with active eczema or rosacea flares.
Apply a small amount to the backs of your hands as part of your daily routine. The combination of hydrating, brightening, and resurfacing ingredients makes it just as effective there as on the face, and it is one of the first places the skin shows signs of aging and sun damage.
Prepare: Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying.
Apply: Pump a dime-sized amount of mousse directly onto areas of concern.
Technique: Leave it in place for one minute, then smooth it over the face and neck. No rinsing required.
Frequency: Begin with a few times per week and increase gradually as your skin adjusts. Apply sunscreen every morning when using this moisturizer, and limit direct sun exposure. Mild redness or dryness can occur during the first few weeks of use as your skin adapts. Avoid layering with other exfoliating acids or vitamin C treatments unless directed by your esthetician. Each bottle provides approximately 120 uses.
- Vitamin C (Trisodium Ascorbyl Palmitate Phosphate): A modified form of ascorbyl palmitate that enhances stability and water solubility, and allows it to more readily convert to L-ascorbic acid with enhanced bioavailability. Contains high antioxidant properties.
- Glycolic Acid: An alpha-hydroxy acid that exfoliates, smooths wrinkles, and reduces the appearance of dark spots.
- Salicylic Acid: A beta-hydroxy acid that refines texture, clears congested pores, and helps control oil production.
- Lactic Acid: An alpha-hydroxy acid that improves skin tone, smooths texture, and reduces the appearance of dark spots.
- Retinol: A derivative of vitamin A that provides exfoliation and stimulates collagen production, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Licorice Root Extract: Brightening and anti-inflammatory agent that balances skin tone and helps inhibit hyperpigmentation.
- Linoleic Acid: Softens and hydrates dry depleted skin while supplying soothing, healing benefits; penetrates other nutrients into skin tissue, and provides much longer-lasting, intense moisture.
- Centella Asiatica Extract: Helps to strengthen and repair the skin's moisture barrier with potent anti-inflammatory benefits and antioxidant protection.

What makes the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer different from a standard moisturizer?
The CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer uses an integrated CO2 chamber built into the bottle that converts the formula into an active, CO2-infused foam with every pump. This delivery method keeps the ingredients potent and fresh rather than sitting in a static formula. It also means you are receiving a dose of active carbon dioxide with each application, which supports circulation and ingredient absorption at the skin's surface.
What skin concerns does the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer address?
It is formulated to address dehydration, dull or uneven skin tone, rough texture, and the visible effects of aging and sun exposure. The combination of multiple vitamin C derivatives, licorice root extract, and phyllanthus emblica works on discoloration, while glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and retinol target texture and cell renewal. Hydrating actives like sodium hyaluronate, squalane, and amino acids ensure the skin stays comfortable throughout.
What forms of vitamin C are in the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer?
The formula contains three distinct vitamin C derivatives: trisodium ascorbyl palmitate phosphate, ascorbic acid, and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate. Each form has a different stability profile and pathway into the skin, which means the formula targets brightening from multiple angles rather than relying on a single source. This approach helps address discoloration more comprehensively over time.
Does the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer contain retinol?
Yes, retinol is included in the formulation. Retinol supports skin cell turnover, which helps gradually smooth texture, fade post-breakout marks, and improve overall skin clarity with consistent use. It is balanced in this formula with soothing ingredients like allantoin, bisabolol, centella asiatica, and chamomile to support comfort as your skin adjusts.
Can the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer be used with other exfoliating products?
Because the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer already contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and retinol, layering additional exfoliating actives on top is not recommended without professional guidance. Combining too many exfoliating ingredients can compromise the skin barrier and lead to irritation. If you are unsure how to fit this into your current routine, our estheticians can help via a free skincare consultation.
Is the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer suitable for sensitive skin?
This moisturizer contains several active exfoliating and brightening ingredients, including glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, and retinol, which means it is not designed for highly reactive or very sensitive skin types. If your skin is prone to sensitivity, we recommend doing a patch test before full use and starting slowly. Those with active eczema or rosacea should avoid it unless cleared by a professional.
Does the CO2Lift® Carboxy Mousse Moisturizer require sunscreen?
Yes, applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning is essential when using this moisturizer. The exfoliating acids and retinol in the formula increase the skin's sensitivity to UV exposure, and unprotected sun exposure can worsen the discoloration you are working to correct. Limit sun exposure during use and for at least a week after.

First off, a little goes a long way. I love the consistency of this, foam into light moisturizer. My skin has had no reactions to this and I like how well it absorbs, so it can be used day or night. Not sure about long term results yet, as I haven’t been using it long enough, but I love the mask so I’m excited to see a difference.
