Esthetician of 7 years here! I recently purchased this product along with the quiet cleanser because I decided I wanted to start a journey into using more organic products after using dermalogica for the past 4 years. I have combination, very sensitive, acne prone skin. I checked out the ingredients before purchasing and everything seemed great, I was almost positive this was going to be a great product for me to use considering their raving reviews and dedication to creating products specifically designed for sensitive, acne prone individuals. Holy moly was I wrong in my assumption, after two weeks of use I broke out all over my face in deep cystic pimples, that were extremely tender, itchy and huge. I normally only get pimples in the perioral zone and sometimes on my cheeks. I haven’t changed anything else lifestyle wise and my skin was relatively clear before starting this product, to say I’m devastated is an understatement. Starting new products can sometimes cause a “purge” but typically this should only ever resemble small whiteheads that heal quickly or an increase in blackheads (more common if you are using actives as well) especially if you are switching to more natural which is something I understand and was prepared for but I was not at all expecting this. This was my own personal experience with this product so it’s not to say that it might not work for you but just a word of caution to anyone that has very sensitive, acne prone or reactive skin that this may or…
