I’m not sure I can get through the odor to achieve results. Three days a week to start but it smells even after cleansing thoroughly. By dinner time it starts to fade after morning use. Maybe switch to using before bed.

I followed Jenna's protocol and used this mask every morning for 2 weeks. Full Disclosure: I did use it in conjunction with 3 Aerolase treatments so that might have accelerated the results, but I really cannot believe how quickly it faded the most stubborn brown spots on my cheekbones. I've had Actinic Keratosis frozen off both sides frozen off numerous times but I've never had this sustained of a result.
I am thrilled because now, I can just use a tinted sunscreen to even out my skin tone without needing extra makeup or concealer. The outcome has been so rewarding that I've double down on my commitment to using my daily sunscreen and wearing a hat more regularly. I am invested in keeping these results!!!
It definitely has a weird smell that I don't enjoy but I can tolerate it for the payoff! I apply in the morning and after 15 minutes I use the Skin Script Pomegranate Antioxidant cleanser to wash it off and after my Recovery serum, I top that off with Sorella Lemon Brightening Serum, (which had a very pleasing lemongrass fragrance) and that helps mitigate any residual odor.

I have substituted hydroquinone 4% for Sante Cysteamine. I have been able to keep the advances I made with hydroquinone. My melasma is at the same stage as before, when I was using hydroquinone. I believe this is the perfect product. I haven’t gottten any irritation or stinging. I use it daily for 15 minutes in the morning as soon as I wake up before washing my face. I only use it in my entire cheeks which is where I have melasma. It’s worked pest. Just like hydroquinone.

I do see the difference after couple of weeks but still more work to get done to reduce the hyperpigmentation. I felt it is little pricy given how long I have to use it.
