Because the AHA exfoliation happens during the cleansing step itself, it is one of the most efficient ways to build exfoliation into a routine that is already full.

It suits normal, combination, and oily skin types particularly well. If your skin is dry or sensitive, start with every-other-day use rather than daily and monitor your response. The gentle surfactant system is designed to minimize barrier disruption, but AHAs are still active ingredients that deserve a gradual introduction on reactive skin.

This cleanser is also a strong choice if you are using Senté treatment serums and want to maximize their penetration, as freshly exfoliated skin absorbs actives more effectively.

Use Senté Exfoliating Cleanser in the evening rather than the morning so AHAs can support overnight cell turnover without UV exposure risk. Apply your treatment serums and moisturizer immediately after cleansing on freshly exfoliated skin for noticeably better absorption. If you notice any tightness or sensitivity, scale back to every other evening until your skin adjusts.

Prepare: Wet face with lukewarm water. Plan to use this cleanser in the evening to avoid immediate UV exposure after AHA exfoliation.

Apply: Dispense a small amount into palms and work into a gentle lather before applying to the face in circular motions. Avoid the eye area.

Technique: Massage gently for 30 to 60 seconds to allow the glycolic and phytic acids to begin dissolving surface buildup, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Frequency: Use up to once daily in the evening for normal, combination, or oily skin. For dry or sensitive skin, start with every other evening. Always follow with a broad-spectrum SPF the next morning, as AHAs increase photosensitivity.
