Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads
Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads are leave-on exfoliating peel pads designed to resurface, clear, and refine skin overnight without the irritation that typically follows acid exfoliation. The formula centers on a slow-release PHA and LHA system that works gradually while you sleep, paired with conditioning and antioxidant ingredients that keep the skin barrier intact throughout the process. These pads carry a light botanical scent from bergamot, lavender, and rosemary oils.
Key Benefits
Exfoliates Without Disrupting the Skin Barrier Gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, releases slowly on the skin surface to smooth texture and encourage cell turnover without stripping moisture or triggering sensitivity.
Clears Pores and Reduces Congestion Capryloyl salicylic acid, an oil-soluble LHA derived from salicylic acid, penetrates into the pore lining to dissolve sebum and cellular buildup, visibly refining pores and reducing congestion with regular use.
Conditions Skin During Exfoliation Milk protein extract and polyquaternium-51 help maintain skin comfort as the actives work overnight, so the finish is balanced and soft rather than tight or reactive.
Neutralizes Free Radicals and Supports Even Tone Glutathione, grape seed extract, and tocopherol work together to counter oxidative stress and reduce the appearance of dullness and uneven tone over time.
Primes Skin for Better Product Absorption By clearing the surface of dead cell buildup, these pads allow your serums and moisturizer to penetrate more effectively, making the rest of your nighttime routine work harder.
If your skin has ever reacted poorly to exfoliants, whether with dryness, flaking, or redness, these pads are formulated with you in mind. The slow-release PHA and LHA system makes them a reliable starting point for dry, sensitive, barrier-compromised, and mature skin types. Starting at one to two uses per week allows the skin to adjust comfortably while still delivering noticeable improvement in texture and tone.
For oily, combination, and acne-prone skin, these pads are well suited to managing consistent congestion, refining pore appearance, and keeping skin clear between breakouts. Using them three to four times per week at that skin type delivers the kind of low-irritation, regular exfoliation that helps prevent clogged pores from forming in the first place.
These pads are also effective on the body anywhere rough or uneven texture is a concern, including areas with keratosis pilaris or post-inflammatory discoloration.
These are the pads we reach for when clients tell us they have given up on exfoliating entirely. Apply them at night, follow with your moisturizer, and leave them alone. The slow-release system does the work gradually, so there is no adjustment period, no peeling phase, and no morning tightness. If you have been avoiding exfoliation out of fear of irritation, this is where to start.
Prepare: Cleanse and thoroughly dry skin before applying.
Apply: Gently swipe one pad over the face or desired area.
Technique: Do not rinse or remove after application. Allow the solution to absorb fully into the skin.
Frequency: Use two to three times per week in the evening. Follow with your nighttime moisturizer.
- Gluconolactone (PHA): A mild exfoliating acid that gently smooths the skin while attracting and holding moisture. PHA helps improve texture and clarity without stripping the skin, making it especially well suited for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin.
- Capryloyl Salicylic Acid (LHA): A gentle, oil soluble exfoliating acid that works deep within pores to clear buildup, refine texture, and support healthy cell turnover. LHA offers many of the pore clearing benefits of salicylic acid but with less irritation, making it ideal for sensitive or dry skin types.
- Grape Seed Extract: A potent antioxidant that helps protect skin from environmental stress while soothing inflammation and supporting a clearer, more balanced complexion.
- Milk Protein: A skin softening ingredient that helps comfort and condition the skin while supporting moisture retention, leaving skin feeling smooth, nourished, and balanced.
- Glutathione: A powerful antioxidant that defends against free radicals, brightens uneven skin tone, and supports healthy cellular function.

What makes Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads different from regular exfoliating pads?
Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads are leave-on treatment pads, not rinse-off exfoliants. Most exfoliating pads use higher concentrations of AHAs or BHAs that are washed away; these use a slow-release PHA and LHA system that remains on the skin overnight, allowing for gradual, controlled exfoliation with significantly less risk of irritation or barrier disruption. The inclusion of milk protein extract and polyquaternium-51 further supports skin comfort throughout the process.
How do Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads work?
These pads combine gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, for surface smoothing and hydration support, with capryloyl salicylic acid, an oil-soluble LHA, to penetrate into pores and break down sebum and cellular debris. Because the solution is left on the skin rather than rinsed off, both actives are able to work gradually throughout the night. Over consistent use, this approach delivers refined texture, clearer pores, and more even tone without the reactive side effects common to stronger acid exfoliants.
Are Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads are well suited for dry and sensitive skin types. The slow-release exfoliation system helps prevent stripping, and conditioning ingredients like milk protein extract keep skin feeling soft and balanced rather than tight or reactive. Many clients who cannot tolerate traditional AHA or BHA products find these pads comfortable even from the first use. Starting at one to two times per week gives sensitive skin the opportunity to adjust at its own pace.
Can Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads help with acne and clogged pores?
Yes. The capryloyl salicylic acid in these pads is oil-soluble, which allows it to penetrate into the pore lining and break down the sebum and debris that lead to congestion and breakouts. This is the same mechanism that makes salicylic acid effective for acne-prone skin, delivered here through a gentler, leave-on format. These pads are best suited for non-inflamed breakouts, blackheads, and ongoing congestion rather than active, pustular acne.
How often should I use Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads?
Two to three times per week in the evening is the recommended starting frequency for most skin types. If your skin is dry, sensitive, or reactive, beginning at once or twice per week allows for comfortable adjustment. Oily and acne-prone skin types may find three to four times per week more effective for managing congestion and keeping pores clear. Apply to clean, dry skin and do not rinse off. Follow with your nighttime moisturizer.
Do I need to rinse Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads off after applying?
No. Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads are specifically designed to be left on the skin. After swiping across the desired area, allow the solution to absorb fully and continue with the rest of your nighttime routine. Rinsing the solution off would interrupt the slow-release delivery system and reduce the effectiveness of both the gluconolactone and capryloyl salicylic acid.
Can Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads be used on the body?
Yes. Dermathod Priming Booster Peel Pads can be used anywhere on the body where gentle exfoliation is beneficial, including areas with keratosis pilaris, rough or bumpy texture, or uneven skin tone. The same slow-release system that makes them effective and non-irritating on the face applies equally to body use.

I was surprised by how much I loved these… It's weird to feel exfoliating and moisturizing at the same time. Time will tell that they work as good as the Hevatox but I'm hopeful because they're way less expensive

I’ve recently added the Dermathod Priming Peel Booster Pads to my routine and they’ve quickly become a favorite. I’ve been using them about three nights a week and really love the way they feel on my skin. One side of the pad is slightly textured, which gives a gentle exfoliation without being harsh, and the serum left on the skin afterward feels really nourishing. I usually follow with a moisturizer, but even on their own my skin feels soft and hydrated. They’re such an easy way to add a little exfoliation and glow to my routine.
