Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum
The Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum is a lightweight gel serum designed to support the way skin cells communicate with one another, a process that becomes less efficient with age and directly affects how well skin repairs, firms, and renews itself. As cellular signaling slows, collagen and elastin begin to break down faster than they rebuild, and the visible result is loss of firmness and resilience. This serum works to restore that process at the source. It carries a light, delicate floral note from osmanthus fragrans flower extract.
Key Benefits
Firms skin by targeting a root cause of accelerated aging Trifluoroacetyl tripeptide-2, also known as Progeline, works by reducing progerin, a protein that accumulates with age and accelerates the breakdown of elastin. In clinical studies, Progeline has been shown to reduce the appearance of sagging and improve skin firmness by targeting this aging mechanism directly.
Delivers stable vitamin C that brightens and defends Aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphate is a stabilized, phosphate-bonded form of vitamin C that supports collagen synthesis, evens skin tone, and protects against oxidative stress without the instability issues of traditional L-ascorbic acid formulas.
Hydrates deeply to support skin structure Sodium hyaluronate draws moisture into the skin and holds it there, helping to maintain the plump, cushioned structure that makes skin appear more resilient and smooth over time.
Protects against glycation damage Crocus chrysanthus bulb extract and supporting botanicals help defend skin against glycation, a process where excess sugars bind to proteins like collagen and elastin, causing them to stiffen and lose their function. Preventing glycation is a key, often overlooked factor in keeping skin firm long-term.
Supports cellular repair and renewal Amino acids including valine, proline, glycine, alanine, and lysine provide the building blocks skin cells need to repair and synthesize new structural proteins, giving the formulation genuine depth beyond surface-level results.
If your skin is starting to lose its firmness or you're noticing a gradual loss of elasticity and definition, the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum addresses the underlying biology driving those changes. It is particularly well-suited for anyone in their late 30s and beyond who wants a science-forward approach to maintaining structural integrity in the skin.
This serum also works well for those focused on prevention. If you're not yet seeing significant signs of aging but want to protect collagen and elastin from glycation damage and progerin accumulation before it becomes visible, this is the kind of proactive formula worth adding early.
Because it is a lightweight gel serum and fragrance-free aside from a subtle natural floral note, it suits a range of skin types including normal, combination, and those that tend to prefer lighter textures. It layers easily under moisturizer and fits naturally into both morning and evening routines.
For best results with Progeline, consistency matters more than quantity. Use just a few drops pressed gently into skin rather than rubbed, and give it 60 seconds to absorb fully before layering your moisturizer. Over time, this small habit allows the peptide to work with less interference and more contact time with the skin.
Prepare: Cleanse and tone skin before applying.
Apply: Dispense a few drops onto fingertips and press into the face, neck, and chest.
Frequency: Use morning and evening. Layer your moisturizer on top after the serum absorbs.
Sun Protection: Always follow with SPF in the morning.
- Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2: An advanced firming peptide that supports skin elasticity and structural proteins, helping reduce the appearance of fine lines while promoting smoother, lifted looking skin.
- DermCom (Crocus Crysanthus bulb extract): Enhances cell to cell communication and induces secretion of growth factors to boost collagen and elastin production for firmer more resilient skin.
- DermalRx® LuShield™ (Osmanthus Fragrans Flower): Detoxifies the skin from glycating agents and oxidants, protects against glycation-induced inflammation, and prevents cell damage from A.G.E.s and excess sugar.
- Amino Acids: Provide your skin with the essential building blocks for collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
- Vitamin C (Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate-AAP): A water-soluble, stable form of vitamin C known for reducing melanin production, with powerful brightening and pigment-fighting properties.
Aqua/Water, Aminopropyl Ascorbyl Phosphate, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Acacia Senegal Gum, Glycerin, Osmanthus Fragrans Flower Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2, Dextran, Valine, Proline, Glycine, Alanine, Lysine Hydrochloride, Crocus Chrysanthus Bulb Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Hexylene Glycol, Propanediol, Sodium Metabisulfite.
What does the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum actually do for skin firmness?
The Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum contains trifluoroacetyl tripeptide-2, clinically known as Progeline, which specifically targets progerin, a protein that builds up in the skin as we age and accelerates the breakdown of elastin fibers. By reducing progerin, the serum helps preserve the skin's structural support network, which translates to improved firmness and less visible sagging over time. This is a targeted, biology-based approach rather than a surface-level plumping effect.
What is Progeline and why is it important in the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum?
Progeline is the trademarked name for trifluoroacetyl tripeptide-2, a peptide that works by inhibiting progerin, a truncated protein associated with accelerated cellular aging. As progerin accumulates in skin cells, it disrupts the structural proteins that keep skin firm and elastic. Including Progeline in the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum addresses aging at a cellular communication level rather than simply filling in surface texture.
What type of vitamin C is in the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum?
The Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum contains aminopropyl ascorbyl phosphate, a stabilized, water-soluble form of vitamin C bonded to a phosphate group for better stability. Unlike pure L-ascorbic acid, this form resists oxidation and is gentler on skin, while still supporting collagen production and providing antioxidant defense. It is an appropriate choice for a serum intended for twice-daily use.
What is glycation and how does the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum help protect against it?
Glycation is a process where sugar molecules bind to skin proteins like collagen and elastin, causing them to become stiff, discolored, and functionally impaired. This is one of the less-discussed contributors to visible skin aging. The Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum includes crocus chrysanthus bulb extract and supporting botanicals that help defend against glycation-related damage, preserving the flexibility and integrity of the skin's structural proteins.
Can the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum be used on sensitive skin?
The Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum is formulated as a lightweight gel with a relatively gentle ingredient profile, including amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, and a stabilized vitamin C derivative rather than high-concentration actives that commonly cause irritation. That said, every skin is different. If you have reactive skin and want a personalized recommendation, our estheticians offer a free skincare consultation to help you decide if it fits your current routine.
How should the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum be layered with other products?
Apply the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum after cleansing and toning, before your moisturizer, morning and evening. Because it is a lightweight gel serum, it absorbs quickly and layers well without pilling or creating heaviness under other products. In the morning, always finish with SPF over your moisturizer to protect the skin and preserve the results the serum is working to build.
Does the Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum contain fragrance?
The Circadia Cyto-Comm Serum does not contain added synthetic fragrance. The subtle floral note in the formula comes naturally from osmanthus fragrans flower extract, which is an ingredient included for its botanical properties rather than scent purposes. It is a very light note and typically well tolerated.

Unique peptide serum has a beautiful, light, hydrating texture that feels ever so gentle and lovely on the skin and pairs nicely with other products. I've been wanted to try something with progeline and this has a super thoughtful ingredient profile. My sensitive skin has no objections at all to it. Seems to offer some subtle softening effect on lines with application but time will tell if elasticity improves.

I purchase this product and have been using it for the past 8 months. I really like this serum, but I hate how it is packaged. It’s a small bottle with an eye dropper. The bottle is small and I have dropped it several times and once with the lid off, which caused me to lose some of the product and at the price it cost, I was very upset. It’s too bad it’s not in a pump type container so it’s easier to handle and not spill.
