Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil
The Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil is a lightweight therapeutic facial oil formulated to nourish dry, chapped skin while creating a barrier that seals moisture in and prevents transepidermal water loss. It draws from a blend of plant-based oils, antioxidants, and botanical extracts to deliver immediate comfort and lasting hydration without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. The oil carries a naturally warm, floral scent from rose damascena, vanilla, and jasmine, making each application a sensory as well as skincare experience.
Key Benefits
Locks in moisture Squalane and macadamia seed oil form an occlusive yet breathable layer that prevents transepidermal water loss, keeping skin hydrated throughout the day.
Calms and restores dry, chapped skin Glycine soja (soybean) oil and oryza sativa bran oil deliver fatty acids and lipids that replenish the skin's barrier and soften rough, irritated texture.
Delivers antioxidant protection Ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) work together to neutralize free radical damage and support healthy skin function over time.
Nourishes with multi-oil richness A blend of coco-caprylate/caprate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, and sesame seed oil gives the formula its silky, fast-absorbing texture while deeply conditioning the skin.
Soothes with botanical extracts Vanilla planifolia fruit extract, rosa damascena flower oil, and jasminum grandiflorum flower extract provide calming, skin-conditioning benefits alongside their naturally aromatic qualities.
If your skin feels tight, dry, or rough no matter how much moisturizer you apply, the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil is built for you. It works especially well for skin that has lost its ability to retain moisture, whether from environmental exposure, seasonal changes, or a compromised skin barrier.
This oil suits all skin types that struggle with dryness, including normal-to-dry, dry, and sensitized skin. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, speak with one of our estheticians before adding a facial oil to your routine to make sure it fits your skin's current needs.
It also works beautifully as a targeted treatment for dry lips, cuticles, and any area of the face or neck that experiences chronic dryness or flaking. If you want a facial oil that doubles as an everyday dry-skin rescue, this one earns its place in the routine.
Mix one or two drops directly into your moisturizer before applying to give any formula an extra layer of hydration, especially useful during colder months or after prolonged sun or wind exposure. The oil also works on dry cuticles and lips whenever you need targeted relief.
Prepare: Cleanse, tone, and apply your moisturizer as usual.
Apply: Dispense a small amount of oil into your palm using the dropper.
Technique: Gently pat onto the face and neck as the final step in your routine to seal in moisture.
Frequency: Use morning or evening, or both, as needed for your level of dryness.
- Vitamin E (Tocopherol): Soothes, brightens, and helps reverse and protect against environmental damage.
- Soybean Oil: A plant oil high in linoleic acid, known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, while nourishing and toning the skin.
- Rice Bran Oil: Contains high concentrations of vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids, absorbs quickly and penetrates deeply to keep skin soft, smooth, and supple.
- Macadamia Oil: Contains high levels of oleic and linoleic fatty acids, deeply moisturizes, and helps repair skin barrier.
- Sesame (Sesamum Indicum) Seed Oil: High in antioxidants with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
- Cinnamon (Cassia): Provides antiseptic and antibacterial benefits and assists in tissue repair.
- Coenzyme Q-10: A powerful, naturally occurring antioxidant, also known as Ubiquinone, that plays a vital role in cellular energy production and neutralizes free radicals to support collagen production, boost hydration, and improve overall texture.

What skin concern is the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil primarily designed to address?
It is formulated specifically for dry and chapped skin that struggles to retain moisture. The oil works by nourishing the skin with a blend of plant-based oils and lipids while creating a barrier that prevents transepidermal water loss. It is a good fit any time your skin feels tight, rough, or stripped.
What makes the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil different from a regular moisturizer?
A facial oil like Hydralox works as an occlusive final layer, sealing the hydration your moisturizer delivers so it does not evaporate throughout the day. The formula includes squalane and macadamia seed oil, which are structurally compatible with the skin's natural lipids, allowing the oil to absorb smoothly without leaving a heavy residue. It complements your moisturizer rather than replacing it.
What are the key ingredients in the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil?
The formula is built on a multi-oil base that includes glycine soja oil, oryza sativa bran oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, squalane, and coco-caprylate/caprate for deep nourishment and barrier support. Ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) contribute antioxidant protection, while botanical extracts from vanilla planifolia, rosa damascena, and jasminum grandiflorum provide calming, skin-conditioning benefits and the oil's natural scent.
Is the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil safe for sensitive skin?
The formula relies on plant-derived oils and botanical extracts rather than synthetic fragrance or harsh actives, which makes it generally well-tolerated by sensitized skin. That said, the oil does contain several botanical extracts and essential oils that could potentially react with very reactive skin. If your skin is highly sensitized, we recommend doing a patch test first or reaching out to one of our estheticians for personalized guidance.
Can the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil be used on oily or acne-prone skin?
Facial oils are not automatically off-limits for oily or acne-prone skin, but the fit depends on your individual skin and current routine. The formula does contain soybean oil and sesame seed oil, which rank higher on the comedogenicity scale for some skin types. We recommend booking a free skincare consultation with one of our estheticians before adding Hydralox to an acne-prone routine.
Where in my routine should I apply the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil?
Apply it as the last step after cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. Oils are best used at the end of a routine because their molecular structure creates a seal over water-based products, preventing moisture from escaping. Using it after your moisturizer rather than before ensures your hydrating layers are locked in effectively.
Can the Circadia Hydralox Hydrating Oil be used on areas other than the face?
Yes. The formula works well on the neck and any area of the face experiencing dryness or flaking. It can also be applied to dry cuticles and lips to relieve cracking or chapping, making it a versatile option beyond a standard facial oil. A small amount goes a long way in those targeted areas.

I have not always used a face oil but this one is super lighweight and as a bonus, the scent is heavenly. I have avoided face oils in the past because they are too greasy but this one is not at all. It absorbs well and doesn't leave any greasy residue. First face oil that I would actually wear during the daytime.

I have been using this facial oil for a couple of years now. In my humble opinion, I think this is the best facial oil on the market. It absorbs quickly, provides the moisture I need,. I have tried other facial oils, but this one is my go to facial oil
