The DermaDisc Exfoliator is a professional-strength microdermabrasion device designed for safe, effective use at home. Using gentle vibration and a convex diamond tip disc, it buffs away dead skin cells to smooth texture, reduce the appearance of dark spots, and leave skin visibly refined. Unlike traditional microdermabrasion tools that rely on suction, the DermaDisc uses a suction-free design, which means no risk of broken capillaries or bruising, even on sensitive skin.
Key Benefits
Smooths Rough Texture The convex diamond tip disc uses mechanical exfoliation to lift and remove the dead skin cell buildup that makes skin feel rough and look dull.
Reduces the Appearance of Dark Spots Regular use helps lift surface-level pigmentation so uneven skin tone and post-breakout marks fade more visibly over time.
Safe for Home Use Without Suction The suction-free design removes the risk of capillary damage or bruising that can come with traditional microdermabrasion, making this device approachable even for those with sensitive or reactive skin.
Versatile Exfoliation for Face and Body The kit includes three exfoliating tips, fine and medium for the face, and a coarse tip for the body, so you can adjust intensity based on the area and your skin's tolerance.
Cooling and Calming Finish The included smooth tip can be used after exfoliation to soothe the skin and help it settle before you move into serums and moisturizer.
If your skin feels rough, looks uneven, or you want to see fewer dark spots and clogged pores without relying on chemical exfoliants alone, the DermaDisc Exfoliator was built for you. It is especially well-suited to those who want the results of a professional microdermabrasion treatment without the cost or scheduling of in-office appointments.
This device works for most skin types, including those with acne-prone, oily, or thickened skin that has built up layers of dead cells and debris. Because the DermaDisc does not use suction, it is a more accommodating option for people who have experienced redness, bruising, or capillary sensitivity with traditional microdermabrasion.
Those who are already using active ingredients like retinol or exfoliating acids will want to pause those treatments for two days before and after using the device to avoid over-exfoliation. If you are new to at-home devices or unsure whether the DermaDisc is the right fit for your skin, our licensed estheticians are available for a free skincare consultation.
For a results-driven at-home facial, cleanse thoroughly and let skin dry for a full 20 minutes before starting. Do your first pass with the fine or medium disc, then apply a hydrating enzyme masque to the skin and do a second pass with the fine disc while the masque is on. Rinse well, then layer on a growth factor, stem cell, or exosome serum, followed by a soothing moisturizer. A light tingling sensation lasting up to two minutes after treatment is completely normal. If you are doing this during the day, always finish with a mineral SPF.
Prepare: Use the DermaDisc on clean, dry skin. Allow skin to dry thoroughly after cleansing, ideally waiting about 20 minutes so the surface is completely dry before you begin.
Apply: Start with the fine disc and work your way up to the medium disc as your skin adjusts. Hold the skin taut and use gentle movements to work across the treatment area.
Technique: The fine and medium discs are for face use. Reserve the coarse disc for body areas only, it is not intended for facial skin. After exfoliation, use the smooth tip to cool and calm the skin before applying serums and moisturizer.
Frequency: Use every 7 to 10 days. Pause retinol and exfoliating acid treatments 2 days before each session and wait 2 days after before reintroducing them. If mild surface peeling occurs, keep skin well moisturized and protected, and hold off on active ingredients until peeling has fully stopped for at least 2 days.

How is the DermaDisc Exfoliator different from traditional microdermabrasion devices?
Most microdermabrasion devices rely on suction to lift dead skin cells, which can cause bruising, broken capillaries, or irritation, especially in those with sensitive skin. The DermaDisc uses a suction-free design with gentle vibration and a convex diamond tip disc to exfoliate mechanically without that risk. This makes it a more accessible option for home use without sacrificing results.
Which exfoliating tip should I use first with the DermaDisc Exfoliator?
Always begin with the fine disc, especially if you are new to the device. Once your skin has adjusted after a few sessions, you can progress to the medium disc for a more thorough exfoliation. The coarse disc is intended for use on the body only and should never be used on the face.
How often can I use the DermaDisc Exfoliator?
The DermaDisc Exfoliator is designed for use every 7 to 10 days. Using it more frequently can over-exfoliate the skin and compromise the skin barrier. Spacing sessions out gives your skin time to recover and produce the healthy new cells you are working to reveal.
Can I use retinol or exfoliating acids with the DermaDisc Exfoliator?
Yes, but you will need to time it carefully. Stop using retinol and acid-based treatments 2 days before each DermaDisc session, and wait another 2 days after before reintroducing them. If you experience any light surface peeling after a session, hold off on all actives until peeling has fully resolved for at least 2 days.
What is the smooth tip included with the DermaDisc Exfoliator used for?
The smooth tip does not exfoliate. It is designed to be used after your exfoliation pass to help cool and calm the skin before you move into your post-treatment products. Think of it as a settling step that bridges your exfoliation and your serum application.
Is the DermaDisc Exfoliator safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin?
Because the DermaDisc does not use suction, it avoids one of the most common causes of irritation associated with traditional microdermabrasion tools. Sensitive and acne-prone skin types should start with the fine disc, use light pressure, and keep sessions spaced at least 7 to 10 days apart. If you have active, inflamed breakouts, skip those areas during treatment.
How do I change the battery in the DermaDisc Exfoliator?
The DermaDisc takes one AA battery. To replace it, twist only the bottom of the device to open the battery compartment. Do not twist the top of the device, as this can damage the tool. Using the correct end is important to keep the device functioning properly.

Well built, compact Exfoliator. Easy to use. Great video to follow on the Art of Skincare YouTube channel makes it a breeze. The results on my skin are excellent. Save a lot by doing it myself. Definitely a must in any skincare routine. Highly recommended.

Loving it so far!
I have had my eye on the DermaDisc for months, but it is expensive and I couldn't pull the trigger. I finally did, and have used the fine tip 3 times. So far it has not irritated my skin or caused any breakouts. It did give me a really nice exfoliation and I could tell a real difference the day after I used it on how my makeup went on and how smooth my skin looked and felt. I purchased it with the hope that it will help me deal with some severe hyperpigmentation from a liquid-nitrogen procedure from my derm. that left me with big brown spots ... fingers crossed it can help fade those spots!

I used once so far and it was easy to use with the Help of Jeanna's video. I look forward to doing this every week to help with my hyperpigmentation.
