Emepelle Serum
The Emepelle Serum by Emepelle is a first-of-its-kind treatment designed specifically for the skin changes that come with estrogen deficiency during perimenopause and menopause. Using patented MEP Technology®, this serum works to restore normal skin function at a cellular level without introducing hormones, addressing the accelerated collagen loss, reduced moisture retention, decreased elasticity, and dullness that define estrogen-deficient skin. This serum is fragrance-free, making it well-suited for the sensitivity that often accompanies hormonal skin changes.
Key Benefits
Supports Collagen Production Without Hormones MEP Technology® (Methyl Estradiolpropanoate) mimics estrogen's role in the skin to help counteract the 30% drop in collagen that occurs within the first five years of menopause, with further losses of more than 2% each year after.
Delivers Stable, Effective Vitamin C 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, a stabilized form of vitamin C, provides antioxidant protection and supports brighter, more even-toned skin without the oxidation instability of L-ascorbic acid.
Reinforces the Antioxidant Defense System Superoxide dismutase, glutathione, ferulic acid, and tocopheryl acetate work together to neutralize free radicals and protect skin from the oxidative stress that accelerates visible aging.
Targets Fine Lines and Loss of Firmness Pentapeptide-28 and tetrapeptide-26 signal the skin to produce more collagen and elastin, while niacinamide refines texture and improves the look of uneven tone.
Restores Hydration at Multiple Levels Sodium hyaluronate draws moisture into the skin and helps maintain it, while glycerin and glycereth-26 support the skin barrier so that hydration is retained rather than lost throughout the day.
Clinically proven to help address accelerated collagen loss and skin aging due to estrogen-deficient skin; in a study using Emepelle Serum and Emepelle Night Cream for 8 weeks:
- 100% of study participants showed improvement in skin hydration
- 93% of study participants agreed that Emepelle improved the appearance of their skin
- 64% of study participants saw a reduction in wrinkles
Clinically-Proven Benefits of MEP Technology® after application for 14 weeks:
- 54% improvement in dryness
- 39% improvement in dullness
- 19% improvement in laxity
If your skin has become noticeably drier, thinner, or more prone to fine lines over the past few years, and especially if you are in perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause, the Emepelle Serum was formulated with your skin in mind. Estrogen deficiency accelerates nearly every visible sign of skin aging, and most serums on the market are not designed to address this root cause.
This serum is also a strong fit for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin who wants a collagen-supporting, brightening serum without heavy or pore-clogging ingredients. The lightweight, pump-delivered formula layers easily under moisturizer and works morning or evening.
If you are not yet experiencing hormonal skin changes but are looking for a science-backed vitamin C and peptide serum with a meaningful antioxidant complex, this formula still delivers on those fronts.
The pump is more concentrated than it looks. One pump covers face, neck, and chest with ease, and because you only need that single pump twice a day, a bottle tends to last significantly longer than most serums in your routine.
Prepare: Cleanse and tone before applying.
Apply: Dispense 1 pump and apply to face, neck, and chest.
Technique: Note that a temporary pink flush or mild tingling during the first two minutes after application is normal and indicates MEP Technology® is activating in the skin.
Frequency: Use morning and evening. Follow with a moisturizer. In the morning, always finish with a broad-spectrum SPF.
- MEP Technology®: Patented ingredient to restore the function of estrogen in the skin without the use of hormones. Improves hydration, texture, and boosts collagen production.
- Vitamin E (Tocopherol): Soothes, brightens, and helps reverse and protect against environmental damage.
- Vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl-Ascorbic Acid): This highly stable form of C is gentle and non-irritating, with potent antioxidant benefits. It reduces inflammation, enhances collagen synthesis, and improves skin elasticity, while providing brightening effects by inhibiting melanin production.
- Niacinamide: A multitasking form of vitamin B3 that helps balance oil, strengthen the skin barrier, and improve uneven tone and texture while calming redness for healthier looking skin.
- Peptides: Short chains of amino acids that signal the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. Think of them as messengers that tell your skin to repair and firm itself.
- Hyaluronic Acid: Naturally occurring in the skin, provides intense hydration and plumps and improves skin barrier function by attracting and retaining moisture.
Water (Aqua), Dimethyl Isosorbide, Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Glycereth-26, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Methyl Estradiolpropanoate, Superoxide Dismutase, Glyceryl Caprate, Ferulic Acid, Glutathione, Pentapeptide-28, Tetrapeptide-26, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipeptide-4, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA
What is MEP Technology® in the Emepelle Serum?
MEP Technology® is a patented ingredient called Methyl Estradiolpropanoate, the active at the heart of the Emepelle Serum. It is designed to restore the skin's estrogen receptor function without delivering hormones systemically. This allows it to address the specific skin changes driven by estrogen deficiency, such as collagen loss, decreased elasticity, and reduced moisture retention, without hormonal side effects.
Is the Emepelle Serum a hormone or hormone replacement therapy?
No. The Emepelle Serum does not contain hormones and is not a form of hormone replacement therapy. MEP Technology® works at the skin's surface to restore the function of estrogen receptors locally, without entering the bloodstream or affecting the body's hormonal system.
Why does the Emepelle Serum cause a pink flush or tingling sensation?
A temporary pink flush and mild tingling during the first one to two minutes after applying the Emepelle Serum is completely normal. This is a sign that MEP Technology® is activating within the skin. The sensation resolves quickly and is not a sign of irritation or an allergic reaction.
What form of vitamin C is in the Emepelle Serum?
The Emepelle Serum contains 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, a stabilized ether derivative of vitamin C. Unlike L-ascorbic acid, this form does not oxidize easily, meaning it stays active in the formula and on your skin. It provides antioxidant protection and supports more even skin tone.
Can the Emepelle Serum be used on oily or acne-prone skin?
Yes. The Emepelle Serum has a lightweight, non-comedogenic texture that works well on oily and acne-prone skin types. The niacinamide in the formula also helps regulate the appearance of pores and improve uneven texture, making it a practical fit for a range of skin types beyond its core menopausal skin audience.
How do the peptides in the Emepelle Serum support the skin?
The Emepelle Serum contains two peptides, pentapeptide-28 and tetrapeptide-26, that signal the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. This makes them a direct complement to MEP Technology®, which also targets the collagen loss associated with estrogen deficiency. Together, they support firmer, more resilient skin over time.
How long does a bottle of the Emepelle Serum last?
Because the formula is concentrated and one pump is sufficient to cover the face, neck, and chest, the Emepelle Serum tends to last considerably longer than many serums of a similar size. Most users find a single bottle lasts well beyond what they would expect from a 1.2 oz serum.

My skincare routine that I’ve had for almost 8 years wasn’t working anymore due to me going through perimenopause now. This whole skin line has helped my skin feel subtle and nourished again. With my old regime, it didn’t matter how much of tge product I put on, my skin would still be cracked and dry longing for thirst. These products have taken care of this problem. I’m so glad I don’t have to go through products monthly anymore and am back on a normal skin routine that honors the changes my body is going through.

Something about this serum is just not a 5 star for me. I want to love it but so far, I just like it. Its a really nice sized bottle, giving me ample time to see if it yields the results I want. I always use a vitamin C serum, and I just think I liked the Rhonda Allison C stem cell serum better. I do want to give this serum ample time however because of how it works. I had a hysterectomy 18 years ago and obviously have no estrogen production other than what I take, so I wanted to give this serum a try.

My neck and lips feel more plump since I’ve been using Empelle over the past 3 weeks. I am very pleased with the results. I don’t love the smell of the product, but I overlook it due to its effectiveness at reducing my crepey neck skin and upper lip lines.
