GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief is a calming, reparative moisturizer built around horse chestnut bark extract, an ingredient prized for its ability to strengthen fragile capillary walls and reduce the visible redness and flushing that come with rosacea and other inflammatory skin conditions. Rather than simply masking symptoms, this cream works to reinforce the skin's vascular structure while delivering deep barrier support through sunflower seed oil, shea butter, jojoba seed oil, and vitamin E. The formula carries a subtle herbal, earthy aroma from the horse chestnut and rosemary leaf oil.
Key Benefits
Reduces Visible Redness and Flushing Horse chestnut bark extract strengthens capillary walls and helps calm the persistent redness and flushing associated with rosacea-prone skin.
Soothes Inflammation and Irritation Glycine, an amino acid with anti-inflammatory properties, works alongside grape seed oil to help quiet reactive, sensitized skin.
Repairs and Reinforces the Skin Barrier Sunflower seed oil, shea butter, and jojoba seed oil replenish lipids and lock in moisture to rebuild a compromised barrier.
Protects Against Environmental Stress Vitamin E (tocopherol) and rosemary leaf oil deliver antioxidant protection that helps defend inflamed skin from further oxidative damage.
Doubles as a Targeted Eye Treatment The same vein-strengthening and anti-inflammatory ingredients that calm rosacea also help reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles caused by poor circulation or dehydration.
If your skin runs red, flushes easily, or has been diagnosed with rosacea, this moisturizer was made for you. It is especially well suited for anyone whose barrier feels compromised, tight, or reactive after using traditional anti-redness products that tend to strip rather than repair.
It is also a smart pick if you struggle with dark under-eye circles related to dehydration or lack of sleep, since the same capillary-strengthening ingredients help address pooling beneath thin periorbital skin.
Because the formula relies on emollient oils and silicones rather than aggressive actives, it layers comfortably under sunscreen and works for dry to normal skin types that need calming hydration without heaviness.
Try patting a thin layer around the orbital bone at night to target dark circles. The horse chestnut bark extract that calms rosacea redness also helps strengthen the tiny capillaries under the eyes, reducing the bluish pooling that shows through delicate under-eye skin.
Prepare: Cleanse, tone, and apply any treatment serums first.
Apply: Dispense a small amount from the airless pump and smooth over face, neck, and chest. Can also be patted gently around the orbital bone as an eye treatment for dark circles.
Frequency: Use morning and evening. In the AM, always follow with a broad-spectrum SPF.
Aqua (Water), Helianthis Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearth-20, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Bark Extract, Glycerin, Cetearyl Glucoside, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Caprylic Acid, Glycine, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Xanthan Gum, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Potassium Sorbate (Vitamin C), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Lecithin, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate
What makes horse chestnut the key ingredient in GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief?
Horse chestnut bark extract contains aescin, a compound clinically recognized for strengthening capillary walls and reducing fluid-related swelling. In this formula, it targets the weakened blood vessels that cause persistent redness and flushing in rosacea-prone skin. It also contributes anti-inflammatory benefits that help calm reactive skin over time.
Can I use GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief as an eye cream?
Yes. The same capillary-strengthening and anti-inflammatory ingredients that reduce rosacea redness also help diminish dark under-eye circles caused by poor circulation or dehydration. Pat a small amount around the orbital bone, avoiding the lash line, during your evening routine.
Is GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?
This cream is formulated with emollient oils and shea butter, so it is best suited for dry, normal, or combination skin types. If your skin leans oily or is actively breaking out, reach out for a free skincare consultation to find a redness-calming option that matches your skin type.
How long does it take to see results with GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief?
Many people notice a reduction in surface redness and improved comfort within the first few weeks of consistent twice-daily use. Strengthening capillary walls is a gradual process, so the most significant improvements in flushing and vascular redness typically develop over four to eight weeks.
Can I layer GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief with other serums and treatments?
Absolutely. Apply your treatment serums first, then follow with this moisturizer to seal everything in and add barrier support. Because it contains calming, non-sensitizing ingredients, it pairs well with most serum formulas. Just be cautious layering it with strong exfoliating acids if your skin is highly reactive.
Does GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief contain fragrance?
There are no synthetic fragrances in this formula. The subtle herbal scent comes from naturally occurring rosemary leaf oil and lavender oil, which are included at low levels. If you are extremely sensitive to essential oils, patch test on a small area first.
Do I still need sunscreen when using GlyMed Plus Rosacea Relief?
Yes. While this cream provides antioxidant protection from vitamin E and rosemary leaf oil, it does not contain SPF. UV exposure is one of the most common rosacea triggers, so applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning over this moisturizer is essential for managing flare-ups.

There was no change at all in my rosacea after using for 3 months. No negative reaction so the 2 stars. It was extremely pricey for doing nothing.
I'm sorry to hear that this product didn't work out for you! Treating rosacea is a multi-pronged approach and we'd be happy to do a check-in with you to take a deeper dive into addressing this concern.
A soothing cream I can apply to my face. It hasn't necessarily reduced my rosacea but my skin can tolerate it well. I'm glad I bought it.
