Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil
The Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil is a lightweight botanical facial oil formulated to nourish, calm, and reinforce compromised or reactive skin without heaviness or residue. A carefully balanced blend of seed oils delivers antioxidants and essential fatty acids that support the skin's barrier and help reduce visible signs of inflammation. The oil carries a light, natural scent of eucalyptus and clary sage that gently fades as it absorbs.
Key Benefits
Reinforces the Skin's Moisture Barrier Jojoba seed oil and meadowfoam seed oil work together to mimic and support the skin's natural lipid layer, reducing transepidermal water loss and helping skin hold onto hydration.
Calms Inflammation and Sensitivity Watermelon seed oil delivers a concentrated dose of linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid that is consistently low in acne-prone and reactive skin, helping to reduce redness and support a calmer, more balanced complexion.
Delivers Antioxidant Protection Tocopherol (vitamin E) and calendula flower extract neutralize free radical damage while supporting the skin's natural recovery process, helping to maintain an even tone and healthier surface over time.
Supports Skin Resilience with Sea Buckthorn Sea buckthorn seed oil is one of the few plant-based sources of omega-7 fatty acids, which support collagen synthesis and tissue repair, contributing to firmer, more resilient skin with continued use.
Brightens and Revitalizes Dull Skin Birch leaf extract provides natural astringent and toning properties that help refine the skin's surface, while squalane ensures the entire formula absorbs smoothly and completely without a greasy finish.
This oil is an excellent fit for dry, dehydrated, or barrier-compromised skin that needs more than a standard moisturizer can provide. If your skin feels tight, looks dull, or reacts easily to products and environmental stressors, the fatty acid profile in this formula offers the kind of targeted nourishment that helps skin recover its baseline resilience.
It also works well for sensitive skin conditions including rosacea, eczema, and post-acne skin that is dealing with chronic inflammation. The absence of fragrance additives (the scent comes only from the naturally occurring essential oils in the formula itself) makes it a thoughtful choice for skin that does not tolerate heavy perfumed products.
Those with oily or acne-prone skin who are linoleic acid-deficient may also benefit, as watermelon seed oil and sunflower seed oil are both high in linoleic acid and absorb cleanly without congesting pores.
If your skin is going through a reactive period, such as after introducing an active like a retinoid or after a professional treatment, try pressing 1 to 2 drops of Remedy Rehab Oil over your moisturizer at night as a finishing layer. It gives the barrier extra support exactly when it needs it most without interfering with the actives you are already using.
Prepare: Start with freshly cleansed skin. The oil absorbs best when skin is slightly damp.
Apply: Dispense 2 to 4 drops into clean palms and gently press the oil into the face and neck.
Frequency: Use once or twice daily as the final step in your routine to seal in the layers applied before it.
- Squalane: Keeps skin hydrated and balances oil production by mimicking the skin’s acid mantle while also reducing inflammation, soothing skin irritation, and improving elasticity.
- Meadowfoam Seed Oil: High in antioxidants, effectively forms a barrier to lock in moisture and deliver nutrients deep into the epidermis.
- Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) Seed Oil: Rich source of linoleic acid, a fatty acid that helps maintain the integrity of the skin barrier and prevent moisture loss.
- Calendula Extract: Known for its skin-soothing abilities, this plant extract contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to promote healing and regeneration.
- Jojoba: An emollient plant oil that is most similar in structure to our own sebum. Provides antioxidant support and relieves skin irritation.
- Sacha Inchi Seed Oil: Rich source of omega fatty acids improves skin barrier and calms skin irritation.
- Watermelon Extract/Oil: Naturally over 90% water, this antioxidant-rich natural astringent controls oil production while providing moisture.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Wax, Heptyl Undecylenate, Squalane, Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Seed Oil, Betula Alba (Birch) Leaf Extract, Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil
What skin concerns is Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil best suited for?
This oil is especially effective for dry, dehydrated, barrier-compromised, and chronically sensitive skin. Its fatty acid-rich seed oil blend makes it a strong option for skin dealing with inflammation from conditions like rosacea, eczema, or post-acne sensitivity. It is also useful for anyone whose skin has been stressed by aggressive treatments or environmental exposure.
Is Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil safe for acne-prone skin?
Yes, for many people with acne-prone skin it can be beneficial rather than problematic. Acne-prone skin is frequently deficient in linoleic acid, and both watermelon seed oil and sunflower seed oil in this formula are high in linoleic acid, which is non-comedogenic and helps regulate sebum consistency. That said, individual skin responses vary, so starting with a small amount a few times per week is a reasonable approach.
Does Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil feel greasy on the skin?
No. The formula is built on lightweight carriers including caprylic/capric triglyceride and squalane, which are both well-known for their dry, fast-absorbing texture. Meadowfoam seed oil also contributes to a clean finish. Most users find the oil absorbs fully within a minute or two without leaving a heavy or occlusive feeling.
Where does the scent in Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil come from?
The light scent comes from eucalyptus globulus leaf oil and clary sage oil, both of which are naturally occurring botanical ingredients in the formula. There are no added synthetic fragrances. The scent is subtle and tends to dissipate quickly as the oil absorbs into the skin.
What makes sea buckthorn seed oil a notable ingredient in Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil?
Sea buckthorn seed oil is one of the rare plant-based sources of palmitoleic acid, an omega-7 fatty acid that plays a role in tissue repair and collagen support. It is also rich in carotenoids and tocopherols, making it a multi-functional ingredient for skin that needs both antioxidant protection and structural support.
When in my routine should I apply Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil?
Oils are applied as the final step in a routine because their lipid-rich texture can form a light seal over water-based products applied before them. Apply after your serums and moisturizer by pressing 2 to 4 drops into the skin rather than rubbing, which helps with even absorption and avoids disrupting layers underneath.
Does Hale & Hush Remedy Rehab Oil contain any ingredients I should know about if I have fragrance sensitivity?
The formula does not contain synthetic added fragrance. The aromatic components come from eucalyptus globulus leaf oil and clary sage oil, which are naturally occurring essential oils within the blend. People with sensitivity specifically to these botanicals should review the full ingredient list before use. If you are unsure, our esthetician team is available to help you assess compatibility through a free skincare consultation.

I use this oil over the hydromelon cream. Even though it’s an oil, it does not leave my skin looking oily. It goes on so smoothly and leaves the perfect finish on my skin. I use just 2 to 3 small drops. I love how my skin feels and looks with this oil. It’s a perfect combo with the hydromelon cream.

Love the Rehab Oil on my skin and the fragrance is amazing too. First introduced to it when getting a facial. Came home in search of it and found the Art of Science site.
