Precision Regenerative Care: Using the Nano Infusion Pen for Eyes, Lips, Neck, and Décolleté

The AOS Nano Infusion Pen is most commonly used on the full face, and for good reason. But some of the most meaningful results I see come from using it with precision in the specific zones that age fastest, respond most poorly to standard skincare, and receive the least targeted attention in most people's routines.

The eyes, lips, neck, and décolleté each have their own distinct anatomy, their own aging patterns, and their own requirements for how regenerative ingredients should be delivered. This guide covers all four: what makes each zone unique, the correct intensity level, which serums to infuse versus which to apply afterward, and the specific products I recommend for each area.

Before using the pen on any of these zones, make sure you are familiar with the full protocols and safety guidelines in our Complete Guide to the AOS Nano Infusion Pen.

The Foundation: What Goes Through the Device vs. What Goes After

This distinction is critical for all four zones and worth stating clearly before we get into the specifics.

Use during infusion: Water-based serums with good slip and nourishing ingredients. The Epicutis Lipid Serum is our primary recommendation across all zones. These formulas keep the skin comfortable, maintain the barrier, and allow the device to glide smoothly.

Apply after infusion, never through the device: Growth factors, exosomes, stem cell conditioned media, and platelet-derived serums. These advanced regenerative formulas have delicate delivery systems that the mechanical action of the nano pen can disrupt. They belong in the post-treatment window when the channels are open and the skin is at peak receptivity. Applying them after infusion rather than during ensures they remain intact and deliver their signals exactly as formulated.

Zone 1: The Eye Area

Why the Eye Area Needs Its Own Approach

The periorbital skin is the thinnest on the entire face and has the fewest oil glands, meaning it has very little natural moisture barrier of its own. It is in constant motion from blinking and expression, it rarely gets the targeted corrective care it needs, and it shows the effects of dehydration, oxidative stress, and collagen loss earlier and more visibly than anywhere else.

Standard facial skincare is not formulated for this tissue. Most eye creams work adequately on the surface but cannot reach the structural collagen changes driving crepiness and laxity. Nano infusion changes that by creating temporary channels that allow barrier-supportive and regenerative ingredients to penetrate more deeply into this delicate zone, stimulating the collagen response without any trauma.

How to Treat the Eye Area

Intensity: Level 1 (Blue) only. The eye area should never be treated above Level 1.

During infusion: Apply Epicutis Lipid Serum around the orbital bone and allow it to absorb slightly before beginning. Keep the skin continuously moist throughout the session. Use extremely light pressure and slow, deliberate passes along the orbital bone. Do not treat directly on the eyelid.

After infusion: Apply your chosen regenerative eye treatment immediately while the channels are open.

Eye Treatments to Apply After Infusion

Plated Skin Science Eye Serum

Powered by platelet-derived PDRN technology, this serum supports advanced cellular repair and collagen regeneration specifically in the periorbital tissue. Apply a small amount and press gently around the orbital bone immediately after infusion. Do not infuse through the device.

FACTORFIVE Eye and Lash Cream

Human stem cell-derived growth factors in a nourishing eye cream that supports structural repair, firmness, and lash health simultaneously. Applied after infusion, the growth factors enter a highly receptive tissue environment and support deeper cellular renewal than topical application alone provides. Do not infuse through the device.

NeoGenesis Eye Serum

S²RM technology delivering stem cell-released molecules to the eye area post-infusion. Particularly valuable for clients dealing with thinning periorbital skin, crepiness, and loss of firmness. Do not infuse through the device.

Zone 2: The Lips and Mouth Area

Why the Lips and Mouth Area Age the Way They Do

The lips and surrounding tissue are in near-constant motion. Every expression, every word, every sip — the orbicularis oris muscle contracts thousands of times daily against skin that becomes progressively less elastic with age. The result is the characteristic vertical lip lines, loss of lip border definition, thinning of the lip body, and deepening of the smile lines that develop over time.

Standard lip balms hydrate the surface but cannot address these structural changes. Regenerative nano infusion reaches the tissue at a deeper level, supporting cellular renewal and collagen synthesis in the most expressive zone of the face without any irritation or downtime.

How to Treat the Lips and Mouth Area

Intensity: Level 2 (Green). The lips and mouth area tolerate slightly more stimulation than the eye area.

During infusion: Apply Epicutis Lipid Serum to the lip area and mouth corners. Focus on the vermillion border, upper lip lines, and smile lines. Keep the tissue moist throughout. The lip tissue is thin and dries quickly, so reapply serum frequently during treatment.

After infusion: Apply your chosen regenerative lip treatment immediately after the session.

Lip Treatments to Apply After Infusion

Plated Skin Science INTENSE Serum

The most concentrated regenerative formula in the Plated line, delivering platelet-derived exosomes for advanced healing and cellular repair. Particularly effective applied to the lip area and smile lines post-infusion when the channels are fully open. Do not infuse through the device.

Hydrinity Luxe Lip Hydrator

A rich, peptide-powered lip treatment that provides sustained hydration alongside firming and line-smoothing support. Apply after the regenerative serum has been absorbed to seal and nourish the tissue overnight.

ANFISA An-Gloss Ceramide Lip Treatment

Ceramide-rich lip care that reinforces the lip barrier and delivers a healthy, natural-looking tint. A comfortable daily treatment between Nano Infusion treatments.

Zone 3: Neck and Décolleté

Why the Neck and Décolleté Age Differently

The neck and décolleté are among the most undertreated zones in most people's routines, and they show it. The skin here is thinner than facial skin, has fewer oil glands, less natural collagen density, and has typically received less consistent SPF protection over the years. The décolleté in particular accumulates UV damage and gravitational changes that standard facial skincare never reaches. The neck adds the challenge of the platysma muscle, constant movement, and the progressive decline in blood flow to the tissue that accelerates visible aging.

Research confirms that skin blood flow decreases to 40% of its youthful level by age 70. The neck and décolleté experience this circulatory decline alongside all of their structural disadvantages, which is why topical products alone often cannot fully address the visible changes in these areas. Nano infusion delivers meaningful cellular stimulation and dramatically improved penetration of corrective ingredients across both zones without any of the inflammatory risk associated with metal needle treatments.

For the full explanation of why the neck ages differently and how to address it comprehensively with devices and topicals, read The Zone Nobody Treats.

How to Treat the Neck and Décolleté

Intensity: Level 2 (Green) for routine weekly infusion sessions. Level 3 (Red) can be used for monthly resurfacing as described in the Complete Guide to the AOS Nano Infusion Pen.

During infusion: Apply Epicutis Lipid Serum generously to the neck and décolleté. Work from the base of the neck upward in deliberate strokes following the natural muscle lines toward the jawline. Continue across the upper chest in smooth, even passes. Focus on horizontal neck lines, crepey areas, and the textural unevenness and sun damage that commonly develops on the décolleté. Keep the skin continuously moist throughout.

After infusion: Apply your chosen neck and décolleté treatment immediately while the channels are open, then follow with the full topical protocol.

Neck and Décolleté Treatments to Apply After Infusion

Le Mieux ProFerm Neck Contour Mask

A whisper-thin hydrogel neck mask featuring fermented red ginseng, Copper Tripeptide-1, growth factor peptides, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid. Use once or twice weekly after a nano infusion session for intensive neck renewal support. Apply to the neck and décolleté, leave 15 to 20 minutes, and massage the remaining serum in without rinsing. Do not infuse through the device.

skinbetter Techno Neck Perfecting Cream

The most sophisticated topical neck treatment we carry. The patented NOw Complex supports nitric oxide production through arginine, adenosine, and carnosine, directly addressing the circulatory decline that drives neck aging at a vascular level. Apply after nano infusion as the final topical step on the neck and jawline. For the complete neck topical routine and how to layer this with AlphaRet, read our neck skincare guide.

At this stage, the goal is not more stimulation—it’s support, oxygenation, and recovery. That’s why we always finish targeted regenerative treatments with the CO2Lift Pro Carboxy Gel Mask.

Finishing Every Treatment: CO2 Lift Pro

Regardless of which zone you have treated, finishing with the CO2 Lift Pro Carboxy Gel Mask significantly enhances and extends the results of the session.

CO2 Lift Pro creates a topical carboxytherapy environment through the Bohr Effect: the skin interprets the presence of CO2 as a signal to deliver oxygen-rich blood to the area, fueling repair and regeneration at the cellular level. Applied after nano infusion and your post-treatment regenerative serums, it accelerates healing, calms any mild sensitivity, improves firmness and elasticity, and ensures that the regenerative signals activated during the session are properly supported through completion.

For eye and lip treatments the mask can be applied to those specific areas alongside the full face. For the neck and décolleté, apply generously across the full treated zone. Leave on for 45 to 60 minutes, then gently remove. No rinsing required.

Because the mask sets quickly and the eyes must remain closed during application, having a partner apply it when treating the eye area ensures smooth, complete coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the nano pen on my eyelids?

No. Treat around the orbital bone only using Level 1. Do not apply the device directly to the mobile eyelid.

Can I use growth factor or exosome serums through the device?

No, on any zone. Growth factors, exosomes, stem cell conditioned media, and platelet-derived serums should always be applied after treatment, not during. Apply them while the channels are open for maximum absorption without disrupting their delivery systems.

How often should I treat these zones?

Eyes and lips can be treated up to three times per week on Level 1 or 2 as part of a regular infusion routine. The neck and décolleté follow the same protocol as the face: up to three times weekly on Level 1 or 2, once monthly on Level 3. Always use a fresh cartridge for each session.

Can I treat my full face and neck in the same session?

Yes. Move seamlessly from the face to the neck and décolleté in the same session, keeping the skin continuously moist throughout. Use the same cartridge across the full session.

Is nano infusion safe for the décolleté?

Yes. The décolleté responds very well to nano infusion, particularly for sun damage, uneven texture, and early crepiness. Use Level 2 for routine sessions and Level 3 for the monthly resurfacing treatment, same as the neck.
